You girls did an amazing, wonderful job. Really, there is not one thing that could have made it better for me.
I loved the nutrition piece. I loved the quiet time in the morning. I of course loved the hot, sweaty yoga.
The food was amazing!

My highlight was being able to transition/melt into life at Maya Tulum and be truly present (I was a tad concerned about feeling guilty about being there.) The wonderful people, the fantastic dripping wet yoga, amazing food and the beach made that transition possible.

Believe it or not, the trip to the Biosphere was one of the highlights for me. I have no interest is jumping in a cenote ever again, but the second part of the trip, floating down the canal was amazing. I think it was also a highlight, because I still can’t believe I jumped in the cenote. I was amazed by the information about the ecosystem there and the mission of the area, and would love it if there was more background, or information that we could receive. Another reason that I really liked this part of the trip was that it encouraged a group atmosphere and conversation. I got to know more about other people on the trip while floating along.
I would recommend to participants to try to unplug from their life and technology if possible while on the trip. This was the first time in probably 5 years that I was not checking and responding to email while on vacation. I came back from the trip much more relaxed and with different attitude about balance and work.

It would be hard to pick my favorite part of the retreat but I would say the morning power vinyassa classes with Cyndi. It was a great way to start the day. I also loved that we focused on each chakra and how the essentials oils were incorporated into each class.

Choosing a highlight is tough because the whole week was a high ~ I think that the center to it all was the location - Maya Tulum is a real gem. I might have to say that a highpoint was the mornings for me, escalating to the most healthful best start to each day - the morning walk, then breakfast, then nutrition class, then yoga. I loved the yoga room we practiced in, with the big windows pouring sunshine into the room each & every day. I loved the sound of the ocean during class ~ location was divine! The people who came together to make the trip ~ they were all very special & it was great to spend time with people with the same mutual interests, developing easy friendships. There were so many highs that it's hard to pinpoint a single highlight!

It's not hubris to say that the Yoga & Nutrition Retreat in Mexico changed my life. That experience gave me the time, perspective, confidence, & support to begin to ask the difficult but necessary questions to step more fully into my own light. One year later, I've completely rediscovered joy in a very deep & profound way. I am so grateful to Cyndi & to everyone on the breathe retreat.
