What I've learned from my personal practice…

I've learned to listen to and trust my body, knowing when to push my limit/find my edge and when to back off, to heal. I've learned to "take up space" - I love the feeling of taking up my whole mat, then taking that feeling into my day! I've learned that I am strong and have the ability to keep up with "power yoga" and I have learned that it's OK (good even) to slow down, sink in, and stretch more deeply in Yin.

I love teaching…

because I love sharing my understanding, knowledge, tips and tools. Yoga is so much more than getting into the perfect pose, and teaching others to find the yoga within lights me up!

I'm inspired by… 

my fellow yoga and meditation teachers - sharing space with them gives me community and confidence. The way they integrate yoga and meditation into their everyday lives is inspiring and uplifting! I am inspired by the teachers I've met through breathe - Baron Baptiste, Sean Corn, Bryan Kest and others who do the work and live the practice.

My other passion or hobby in life is… 

is being in relationships with friends, family and nature (especially by the ocean whenever possible!). I love my people and the energy and love we share.
