Grasshopper Bites: Our favorite spring treat!

Our Grasshopper Bites have become a go-to favorite from the breathe bakery, and we’re so excited to share the recipe with you. These minty, satisfying bites are the perfect grab-and-go snack: refreshing, energizing, and just a little indulgent.

Danielle, our talented baker, walks you through how to make them step-by-step so you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen. (But if you’d rather skip the prep, we’ll always have them waiting for you at breathe!)

A few tips from Danielle:

  • Almond flour is sometimes labeled as almond meal and may appear slightly darker in color. Either option works perfectly in this recipe.

  • If your bites aren’t sticking together when you start rolling them, add a small amount of water at a time until the mixture binds.

  • Rolling the bites in finely shredded coconut is optional, but recommended. It helps prevent them from sticking together when stored in the fridge.

We consider 3 bites to be one serving. Store them in the refrigerator for up to 6 days, or freeze them for longer storage. If freezing, let them chill in the fridge first, then transfer to the freezer for up to 1 month.

If you make them at home, we’d love to see! Snap a photo and tag us on Instagram so we can share your creations.

Enjoy!
