Teaching with Care: Trauma-Informed and Children’s Yoga Training
In this 2-day training, you’ll explore the foundations of Trauma-Informed Yoga—what it is, why it matters, and how to guide classes through a compassionate and empowering lens. From there, you’ll dive into the principles of Children’s and Teen Yoga, learning how to safely and effectively share yoga with students in grades K–12.
You’ll also discover how trauma-informed practices can be woven into youth yoga, giving you the tools to create safe, interactive, and supportive classes that meet students where they are—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
By the end of this training, you’ll feel confident in building age-appropriate, inclusive, and healing spaces for children and teens through the practice of yoga.
